As an Virtual Bookkeeper, you will be pivotal in delivering an awesome product and service experience for customers using our online suite of products.

As a Virtual Bookkeeper, you will have to:

  • Answer the questions of users through instant messaging, email or phone.
  • Provide troubleshooting, as well as explanations, assistance and advice regarding improvements or changes to the features of the product.
  • Embody the voice of the customer in our team and help focus attention on user’s pain points in order to prioritize and resolve them.
  • Provide clear and precise documentation, case by case in the database of knowledge sharing.
  • Manage multiple tasks, review the order of priorities and objectives according to the needs.
  • Provide data entry and QuickBooks management for up to 25 clients.
  • Process and approve payroll.

Qualifications

  • QuickBooks Online & Desktop Certification.
  • Two to three years of experience in QuickBooks, Oracle, or related accounting software.
  • Two to three years of Customer Care or Support, ideally in banking, financial or accounting fields, or supporting SAAS solutions.
  • Customer-focused, with strong empathy and a passion for delivering the best possible customer experience.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with the products, techniques and processes, and to apply the knowledge acquired.
  • Excellent analytical skills, good listener with advanced skills in problem solving.
  • Very high level of engagement resulting in low absenteeism rate.
  • Willingness and ability to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the team and the company while respecting people and maintaining integrity without compromise.
  • Fluent English.
  • Previous experience in accounting or financial services, or an understanding of the principles of accounting, is helpful.

Lockhart Professional Services, PC, will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with requirements of local law.

Compensation:

All Virtual Bookkeepers start on a probationary basis. Hours are limited to 20 per week, at $15/hour, for the 90 day probationary period. After the probationary period, compensation is based on experience and performance. Full-time positions start at $37,440 per year, plus additional benefits, including but not limited to: vesting stocks, health insurance, life insurance, and more!

The primary objective of our summer internship program is to bring highly talented and innovative future accountants and bookkeepers into the organization.  Our internship program is truly an ‘early identification’ program, focusing on identifying and investing in high potential university students early to encourage them to bring their talent back to Intuit after graduation.

During our summer internship program, interns should be prepared for high impact/high visibility roles that will stretch, challenge and reward.  You will directly interact with our senior leaders, learn and collaborate with our business partners, and leverage our processes all while making fast decisions, bringing your recommendations to life, and changing the trajectory of our business.

 

Qualifications

Responsibilities could include:

  • Develop rapid test plans and experiments for new concepts and virtual programs.
  • Define and prioritize customer requirements.
  • Partnering with a cross-functional team create new offerings including Product Management, Development, Finance and Care.
  • Lead customer insights research including ethnographic (qualitative) and quantitative.
  • Set success metrics and monitor against milestones.
  • Present regular updates to senior Business Unit leadership

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an Accounting or Finance degree-seeking program during the time of the internship
  • Demonstrated leadership and track record of delivering results
  • Ability to think strategically and leverage strong analytical skills

  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally & builds enduring partnerships
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills

Commitment:

Summer Interns are expected to commit to 10 hours on-site per week, for 12 weeks, during the summer.

Compensation:

Summer Interns receive stipends of $1,500.00.
